Hollywood Laser Peel
Hollywood Laser Peel was originally conceptualized in Korea in the early 2000s and since then it has been immensely popular in Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, and of course the home ground of Korea.
Originally named Baby Doll Facial, now known across the globe as the Hollywood Laser Peel, got its name due to the huge number of requests for treatment from celebrities and other well-known stars prior to their big red-carpet events.
During the procedure, the face is cleansed with Riversol Micellar Water, and a thin layer of carbon Gel (as a photo enhancer) is applied. The laser light is absorbed by the black particles of carbon, which blast off along with the superficial dead layer of skin as laser light moves across the skin. Additionally, the laser selectively targets facial imperfections such as enlarged pores, pigmentation, scarring, and rough texture and helps reduce inflammation and itch due to eczema. Pores impacted with oil and dead skin are cleared off and the rejuvenating effect of the 1064nm laser causes plumping up of the skin. It works in two ways: (1) by breaking up the pigmentation in the skin, allowing it to be naturally removed by the body (2) by heating the skin, triggering the production of collagen.
You will hear some snapping sounds as the laser moves across the surface of your skin, and you will feel some warmth or mild tingling, but the procedure is comfortable and doesn’t even require a topical anesthetic. The majority of our patients report no pain at all.
After the procedure, you can return immediately to your normal activities; there’s no downtime needed. The Hollywood Laser Peel is so gentle on your skin, you can have a treatment every month, or if you want, even more often.
In fact, it seems to work best when several treatments are done over time. With each treatment, your body is stimulated to create new collagen, so your healthy, glowing, youthful look is sustained.
This treatment is ideal for all skin types including tanned/dark skin.
